Oregon City Child Photographer - William 1 Year

Your child's 1 year portraits should be a memorable occasion. Their first steps. The cake smash. This is the funnest age for most. The best way to capture your little one at this age is to follow them around. Get down to their level. This makes your little one comfortable and more at ease, rather than trying to place and pose them. They're gaining their independence, and they'll use any excuse to use those little legs! Since it's a bit difficult to get good photos when the kiddos are always on the run, chairs, stools and other props work very well. If they're sitting on a chair, it takes longer for them to get up and run away!

You can always bring things from home that make your little one feel comfortable. Or things that you want to use as props in their session.

This little guy just recently turned 1 year old! No better way to celebrate than with a cake smash and some balloons!
