L's Senior Session ~ Oregon City Senior Portrait Photographer

I am declaring that 'Senior Season' is officially OPEN!

Here we have our first high school senior session of the year:

Isn't she gorgeous? This lovely girl came to me for her senior portraits, as well as her sister - who also came to me earlier this year for her engagement portraits - which will be featured in the next post so keep a look out for her session coming soon!

I absolutely LOVE taking senior portraits! These girls and guys are turning from carefree adolescents into responsible adults. Time to leave the nest, and start searching for their first job, or for some to go off to collage and start their whole new lives. It's such an exciting time in anyone's life, and I feel so blessed having the opportunity to share this special time with these awesome seniors.

Enjoy!

I was so happy to have this lovely girl back, and to be her sweet sixteen photographer! It is very rare that all of my color treatments look good on a client. I usually include several in black and white, as well as regular color with the proofs so clients can see the different color treatments available. This girl looked good in EVERY SINGLE ONE of them!

Standard Color:

"Huckleberry Pie":
J24 - Huckleberry Pie

"Pumpkin Spice":

J15 - Pumpkin Spice

"Banana Split":
J16 - Banana Split

"b+w":
J8 crop - b+w

And my personal favorite shot of the day, treated with "Pumpkin Spice":
J25 - Pumpkin Spice

I loved that last one so much that I set it as the background on the main page of my site. Check it out!

H Siblings Portraits - Oregon City Child Photographer

I absolutely LOVE being the photographer for families, siblings and children. Siblings are so much fun to photograph - especially young ones! Their dynamic and interactions with each other is so genuine and real - especially when they get along as well as these two! I have so much fun working with kids, getting to know their little personalities, and capturing it forever in photographs.

These two were so much fun to work with! They were a dream to work with; they hugged, whispered funny things in the other's ear, and made funny faces at each other behind the camera to make one another laugh. They had such a great time running, and chasing each other through a gorgeous daisy filled field at this breathtaking location in Canby.

Can you feel the sibling love?

Duncan Girls ~ Oregon City Child Photographer

We had a very fun and lively session with these three little lovelies! These girls were so fun and playful,    and had so much fun running around the park and rolling down the big hill. Mommy even got to join them for a couple shots with her girls.

Smith Family Session ~ Oregon City Family Photographer

I love it when there is a specific theme or vibe to a session - it really helps us tell a story about a family, couple or individual. When their own personalities or lifestyle are shown throughout the session, we think it really goes a long way to making that experience of their session even more special and memorable, and in turn, making the final product - the photographs - that much more real and truly them.

This family loves horses, cowboy & cowgirl boots, and an overall country feel. And they really let that part of their lifestyle show through their wardrobe choices, location, and personalities.
