This lovely grad is a returning client; we first seen her and her fiance back in january for their engagement session:

Now she's back for her graduation portraits, and we're glad to have her! She brought her mom and sister along for the evening, and we all had such a blast taking both girl's senior portraits.

Isn't she gorgeous? This lovely girl came to me for her senior portraits, as well as her sister - who also came to me earlier this year for her engagement portraits - which will be featured in the next post so keep a look out for her session coming soon!

I absolutely LOVE taking senior portraits! These girls and guys are turning from carefree adolescents into responsible adults. Time to leave the nest, and start searching for their first job, or for some to go off to collage and start their whole new lives. It's such an exciting time in anyone's life, and I feel so blessed having the opportunity to share this special time with these awesome seniors.

Graduation is a couple weeks away! Seniors are lining up to get in last minute photo sessions so they can have gorgeous portraits to use in invitations, handouts at their parties, and thank you cards to send out afterwards.

We had a beautiful senior girl come to us for her senior portraits. And when I say 'beautiful' I don't mean only on the outside. This girl was as sweet as could be, with a gorgeous smile, a laugh that was infectious, eyes that sparkled, and a heart of gold. We had so much fun capturing her fun personality, while we walked around a beautiful outdoor shopping mall, we talking and laughing the entire time.

We had another awesome senior guy session! We started out at the park and as we were heading to our next location, I spotted an area that I thought was PERFECT for this guy! So we pulled over, hopped the barrier and I snapped away as we explored the deserted, crumbling concrete wasteland we had discovered. We found so many awesome places that really were perfect for this senior guy. By the end we were laughing and joking and I think he had a really great time during his session!

We had an awesome guy and his mom come to us for a senior session. It's super fun to have a variety of girls and guys to try out different poses with. And this guy was the perfect model! He was super sweet and was such a good sport during the two hour session, and I think he even enjoyed it! He got to bring (and play!) his guitar, which was special to him and to his mom.

Graduation is in a couple months and it's always nice to get started on senior portraits early! We had a returning client who first got her head-shots for her yearbook photo earlier this year. She wanted a variety of shots to send out for her invitations to her graduation party and to send in her thank-you cards after.

It's always a good idea to get a variety of shots - head-shots, closeups, and full-body shots -  during your senior session.

Kristen's Senior Sesh ~ Oregon City Senior Photographer

This soon-to-be 2012 grad asked for an urban-esque feel for her senior portrait session - and we knew just the place! Or should I say places? We started in Bridgeport Village - with lots of different textures and colors this was the perfect place for an urban setting. We shot for about an hour in Bridgeport, then headed up to Portland for the second hour of her session to add a little more variety to the shots. And they turned out beautiful! That's the great thing about a two hour session; two hours gives you tons of time for outfit swaps and location changes and really gives you a lot of variety in your shots!

This was one of the funnest senior sessions I've ever done. Such a sweet girl with a fun, playful personality - not to mention she's just so pretty! Natural smiles all day long. (Thanks, Kristen!) Here's some edgy shots from the day:

Yearbook pictures are due soon and that's what the agenda today was - yearbook head-shots! This lovely lady is going to be a 2012 grad and she needed some close-up shots for her senior picture in the yearbook. So we headed out to downtown Oregon City to add a more urban feel to her session. With alleyways between buildings, park benches, brick walls, and the majestic Willamette River below, this was the perfect place to achieve a variety of great backdrops for this classy, urban grad.
