Mouser Family ~ Oregon City Family Photographer

We had a great session with a lovely family this evening. Their girls were so adorable and they were all so sweet. The little ones were such good sports for how cold it was and we were able to capture some really amazing shots before the sun went down.

Duncan Girls ~ Oregon City Child Photographer

We had a very fun and lively session with these three little lovelies! These girls were so fun and playful,    and had so much fun running around the park and rolling down the big hill. Mommy even got to join them for a couple shots with her girls.

Smith Family Session ~ Oregon City Family Photographer

I love it when there is a specific theme or vibe to a session - it really helps us tell a story about a family, couple or individual. When their own personalities or lifestyle are shown throughout the session, we think it really goes a long way to making that experience of their session even more special and memorable, and in turn, making the final product - the photographs - that much more real and truly them.

This family loves horses, cowboy & cowgirl boots, and an overall country feel. And they really let that part of their lifestyle show through their wardrobe choices, location, and personalities.

The Porter Family ~ Oregon City Family Photographer

I had the great opportunity to shoot my best friend and her family today, and the location was gorgeous! The setting took place at her aunt's lovely property. A lush green lawn, fields with white fences inclosing them, birch trees with yellowing leaves, and a splendid old red barn made for a relaxed and country-esque atmosphere during this session. And the morning could not have been more beautiful! We were able to use the warm morning light and air before it got too hot. Luckily the session ended around noon, right as the temperature was around 85, - and still climbing - unseasonable heat for September. But nonetheless, the warm morning glow turned out some really beautiful pictures of this lovely family.

Here are some beautiful shots from the day:

Their son also just had his 1 year birthday so we did a 1-year session as well. And what 1-year-old sesh wouldn't be complete without a cake smash? Here's some shots of the birthday boy:

Oregon City Family Photographer - The Dale Family

You can walk into almost any home and the first thing you see are pictures on the walls of the family who lives there. Husband and wife. Baby pictures. The kids. Maybe even the family pets! But no one can argue which picture is the one that is most important. Usually blown up big, right over the mantel piece, the focal point of the room is no more than The Family Portrait.

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph this wonderful and beautiful family (who also happen to be my aunt, uncle and cousins). With four kids, this family has it's hands full, but every one had big smiles and the session was a success!

Here's some fun shots from the day:
